GOG offers 13 free NSFW games as it launches anti-censorship campaign, FreedomToBuy.Games
UPDATE 4/8/2025: GOG has announced that one million people opted to make the most of its FreedomToBuy.Games initiative within 24 hours of its debut.
“The response is so much beyond our expectations that our team needs to work around the clock to maintain the stability of the platform,” GOG said in a new post, adding “remember: any DRM-free game you get and download from GOG can never be taken away from you”.
In 24 hours, one million people have claimed the FreedomToBuy games and shown their support.

ORIGINAL 2/8/25: GOG has launched an all-new project to raise awareness of censorship in gaming: FreedomToBuy.Games.
The digital games platform, which has long been campaigning for the better preservation of DRM-free games, said it believes that “if a game is legal and responsibly made, players should be able to enjoy it today – and decades from now”.
